Our dermaplaning treatment does not hurt at all. It creates the most beautifully baby-soft complexion which is truly the most amazing base you could ever have for applying your makeup. Skin that has benefitted from having a dermaplaning treatment also benefits more from anti-wrinkle creams and moisturisers.
Post-treatment, your newly smooth skin acts as a catalyst to push in serums masks and creams deeper into the epidermis. This means that even a basic moisturiser will give the skin a wonderful smooth radiant glow.

Below, we have answered some of our customers’ most frequently asked questions when it comes to booking their dermaplaning treatment.
What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a deep exfoliation treatment that removes all dead skin cells, brightens and illuminates the skin, but it also removes fine, fuzzy hair (known as vellus hair) on the face, leaving you with fresh skin that appears younger and smoother.
Our treatment consists of:
Step 1: A double cleanse to remove all makeup and grime from the skin
Step 2: Enzyme peel
Step 3: Dermaplaning
Step 4: Sheet / gold mask applied
Step 5: Serum / moisturiser application
We can also include led light therapy afterwards for the ultimate treat and glow. Simply ask your beauty therapist for more information.
What happens if hair grows back after dermaplaning?
Hair that has been removed during dermaplaning will grow back eventually, but it will not grow back any thicker. Hair removal from dermaplaning usually lasts 2-4 weeks, so we recommend rebooking regularly.
Can I have a dermaplaning treatment whilst pregnant?
Yes, it is safe to undergo a dermaplaning facial treatment during pregnancy.
Will my skin be red after dermaplaning?
Yes, but only for a short time. This is simply due to the removal of dead skin which reveals the youthful glow we’ve just created for you. We recommend covering your skin with SPF 30 for a week after revealing new skin layers.
Does dermaplaning hurt?
No. Dermaplaning is not a painful treatment. In fact, most of our clients find it to be a relaxing experience.
How long does dermaplaning last?
The results of dermaplaning last between 2-4 weeks. We recommend receiving a dermaplaning treatment every four weeks if you want to keep up with the removal of dead skin cells and keep your skin looking smooth and glowing.
How much does dermaplaning cost?
How much dermaplaning costs depends on the length of the treatment you want.
- Dermaplaning treatment (45 mins) £45
- Dermaplaning treatment with LED light therapy (60 mins) £55
- Dermaplaning treatment with LED light therapy and scalp massage (75 mins) £75
How often should you have dermaplaning?
Because the results of dermaplaning last between 2-4 weeks, we recommend rebooking another dermaplaning appointment 2-4 weeks after your last appointment.
How long does dermaplaning take?
A dermaplaning treatment will last around 45 minutes. Our appointment times vary between 45 minutes just for the dermaplaning treatment, 60 minutes if you want to add on an LED light therapy session, and 75 minutes if you want to add on an LED light therapy session and a relaxing scalp massage.
What are the side effects of dermaplaning?
There are no side effects of dermaplaning, but it is advisable after treatment to wear a high spf on your skin, as after a deep exfoliating treatment the skin is sensitised.
